DVDxDV Brings Blu-ray and DVD Conversion Together in a New Special Offer.

DVDxDV integrates Blu-ray and DVD conversion with a new special software bundle. For a limited time, DVDxDV’s Blu-ray converter BlueX and DVD converter DVDxDV Pro are available for only $80. This software bundle represents $160 value when the software is purchased separately. DVDxDV Pro is software that rips unencrypted standard definition DVDs to Quicktime while BlueX converts High Definition Blu-ray disks into Quicktime. With the combination of these two programs, video from DVDs and Blu-ray disks can be used in iMovie, iDVD, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Avid Media Composer.

BlueX converts un-encrypted Blu-ray disks to Quicktime by directly copying the H.264 video into a Quicktime movie. This transfer to Quicktime is so fast that it is usually limited by the speed of the Blu-ray disk reader and the computer’s hard drive. In addition, there is absolutely no quality loss from the original Blu-ray disk, because the video is identical to the original Blu-ray disk.

Widely used in the television and film industry around the world, DVDxDV Pro has been used to create video for broadcast television shows and feature films. Its high quality video output has made it the industry standard for creating DVD demo reels for actors, writers, directors and cinematographers. DVDxDV Pro works with DVDs international broadcast format such as PAL or NTSC.
DVDxDV Pro and BlueX run on Intel MacIntosh computers running Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. The bundle can be purchased directly from DVDxDV’s website as a digital download.
